All services to/from Heathrow have been cancelled until 1700 today. All other UK airports are open and flights are departing/arriving, however are subject to delay and cancellation.
Customers should be advised to check the status of their flight by visiting the Arrivals and Departures page on ba.com.
Flight bookings - cancelled/delayed services
Customers due to travel on any British Airways service that is cancelled or delayed due to the snow today, Monday 02 February 2009 only, can proceed as follows:
Customers may be rebooked into the lowest available class in the original cabin on the first available flight.
In addtion, within Europe only, customers may rebook to an alternative gateway in the same country or a gateway close by in a neighbouring country, i.e. Lyon and Geneva. Travel between the original destination and the alternative destination is at the customers own expense.

Any customers due to travel to/from Heathrow only on a domestic or shorthaul flight today, Monday 02 February 2009 only, which is operating as scheduled, can proceed as follows:
Customers may be rebooked into the lowest available class in the original cabin on the first available flight.

Any customers due to travel to/from Gatwick only on a domestic or shorthaul flight today, Monday 02 February 2009 only, which is operating as scheduled, can proceed as follows: - Customers can rebook for a later date from tomorrow onwards only as outlined below:
Rebook onto an available flight to the same destination within a 3-day period before or after the scheduled departure time of the original flight. If the same booking class is not available, the next lowest class may be booked within the same cabin. This will be at no additional cost to the customer, and if required, the validity of the ticket may be extended.
or
Rebook onto a flight to the same destination at a later date in the same booking class and cabin. The flight must be re-booked and travel must take place within the validity of the original ticket purchased. This will be at no additional cost to the customer.
- These are the only two options available to longhaul customers whose flight is operating as scheduled.
- Refunds are not permitted unless allowed by the fare rules of the ticket purchased
