e-ticket Itinerary & Receipt

Passengers travelling on e-tickets must have an Itinerary & Receipt to confirm the details of their journey.

It is particularly important that when passengers arrive in a foreign country, if called on, they are able to satisfy any security or immigration procedures which may require confirmation of their onward or return journey from that country. Obviously they cannot do that with an e-ticket; hence the need to carry an Itinerary & Receipt.

All e-ticket passengers must receive an Itinerary & Receipt and also the Terms and Conditions of contract. This is a legal requirement. For a copy of the Terms and Conditions, which can be emailed, please click here.

As passengers may not be able to pick up the Itinerary & Receipt in person from their travel agent, British Airways will allow a copy to be transmitted by electronic means to the customer, provided it meets the standards described above.

A copy of the e-ticket receipt can be received from the Self-Service Check-in kiosks at the airport or via ba.com/manage my booking/print flight itinerary.
